Life

Life

Dung beetles lay their eggs in a mass of dung and then, with herculean effort, roll it to a secure place where the eggs will hatch. As unsavory as this task sounds, it’s what these creatures do to ensure the well-being of their offspring. Life is carved from a single piece of ironwood and mounted to a stone base. It features a dung beetle straining to push a dung ball uphill.
