Most of the more than 300 known species of squid are found in the deep ocean. Large eyes and bioluminescent spots enable them to live in the darkest depths. Because squid are invertebrates, their movement is very fluid, a quality that Squid attempts to capture in the forged and welded steel tentacles and fins. The body is bubinga wood, and the bioluminescent spots are bronze.
