Hawaii Skin Diver Magazine commissioned Ulua to hang in its main office. Ulua are powerful fish, a fact reflected in the proportions of this sculpture. The head and fins of Ulua are hammered and welded out of bronze. A large piece of curly redwood has been carved to form the body.
